Good: Thai Airways! Amazing service: 4 meals served with 'real' silverware and personal entertainment screens. Movies, t.v., and video games on demand. I hardly heard a peep from the girls in the rows behind us. We flew for more than 20 hours yesterday-well two days ago. This time change thing is very strange.
Bad: ALL of us have swollen legs from the airplane. At first I feared it was a sign of old age. But the girls are puffy too.
Surprising: How well Kalin and Maya are adjusting to this very different place. Clearly this will make us all closer.

I third the comment that it was weird not seeing you folks at the capital campaign kick-off dinner. Kimi, as well as Sarah and Julianne at Kimi's instigation, were all dolled up in *cocktail* dresses, and Kalin was very much missed.
Kimi tried to send Kalin an e-card for her birthday, but it bounced back. Is her e-mail address still accessible?
Kimi has been w/o braces since Wednesday, and got a haircut on Sunday that only slightly changes her look. Wavy hair doesn't really get straight, even with products, winding one's hair around one's head, and wishing!

The swelling was from sitting down for so long. Edema. I knew it about it in theory, but it was strange in reality. They are all back to normal now.

Swollen legs?? Wow.... Oh My God jetlag sucks. What is the time differnce?? When I went to Serbia,Slovenia, and Croatia I felt like a slug when I had jetlag... Not even funny... My brain could not function at all and I couldnt even process what 1+1was... I have sympathy for you all. Let me give you some advice.. Sleep on airplanes when you can and if you have any time to sleep at all, take it.
Yes I did cut my hair to shoulder length and I love it. Today I got my retainer and it sucks. I can not talk, and it took me forever just to say "Justice" and "Accomplishment" I have a lisp now, but I hope I will get over it. :) Well I miss you all and hope you are having a wonderful time
