Chiang Mai
Day 7!
Good: What an adventure! The drivers on the shuttle were crazy, it was just like the Indiana Jones ride at D-land.
Bad: Though they advertised a 'Twilight Zoo" apparently they do not have one. So at 6:00 pm we found ourselves alone with a very poorly drawn map...in a zoo...lost on a trail....in the midst of crocodiles.
Surprising: Kalin, yes, Kalin, insisted on taking pictures of the miniature crocodiles!
Here they are. The emu was diligently moving her eggs around. There was a real Koala too (actually two), but we were very amused at the stuffed koala in one of the trees. I especially like the North American Homo Sapien. She was hard to capture.

dear family,
if at all possible id like one of those baby crocidiles for a pet, then allie (my alligator) would have a friend.
we had another, "im just being laila" moment last night.
hope everything is going well, it sounds like its all just amazing. i love this blog and all of you.
love,
hannah
Ok, so I wonder if the stuffed kolas is there so the real one doesn't get lonely? Maybe Hannah should send her alidile (cross between a crocodile and alligator) to Chaing Mai . . .evil laugh.
Hannah and I both check the blog 3 or four times a day and I am always super excited to see a post. I love Sheri's idea of each person planning one day in rotation, brilliant!
More soon.
Love, Sash
