Chiang Mai
Day 8
Good: This Wat was particularly stunning and filled with pilgrims. It was impressive to see so many people involved in religious ritual. Now that we have been to a few we know the routine. We walked around the chedi, counter clockwise, three times. Then left flowers, lit incense, and a few candles. I miss going to church, but it is nice to have these spiritual moments in my day.
Bad: Another Indiana Jones ride to the Wat. And then the driver insisted on bringing us to a jewelry story and rug store. All a bit strange. But there were tons of foreigners at the jewelry market! Okay, true confessions, I bought a ring. When in Rome...
Surprising: Sometimes 2 computers does not feel like enough, and it is still hard to get everything done in the day!
Pictures: The first three are from the Wat. The fourth is from the bathroom at Blue House. I can't believe I neglected to share their wonderfulness with you until now.

Hi Adventurers!
I love following this narrative. I don't see Love Duck. Are we supposed to always be on the look out, or are you going to tell us when to look? You're having so much fun - great way to start off. And just when do you do homework?
I miss you, but it's almost as if you aren't far away at all. The internet is wonderful.
Love,
Karen
Hi Karen,
We seem to get bring out the love duck for photos randomly, though she is will us on all of our adventures.
We do school work each day. Usually in the middle of the day, with an morning outing and an evening outing. Though somedays we go out later and work in the morning.
Much love!
Wow, you've done so much! Kyle commented on how everything looks so colorful. Glad to see all is well. Don't be shy in giving us lots of history. Tim love that stuff. Mona
